Shuli Sandler Psy.D.
Shuli Sandler is a clinical psychologist licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. Her areas of specialty include working with the full age range of children from toddlerhood through adolescence. She passionately believes in working with parents to maximize children’s success and progress in therapy. To that end, she does extensive parenting and family work in conjunction with child therapy and independently as well. She also works with young adults that appear to get “stuck” as they attempt to establish independence as adults in their own right. She does work with couples as well who struggle to negotiate conflicts and find resolution and happiness in their relationship. She has experience diagnosing and treating anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, Asperger’s, and academic difficulties. She has been working in private practice for the past 12 years.
Dr. Sandler received her Psy.D. (Doctorate in Psychology) from Long Island University, Post Campus. Her training experiences include working in Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, and the clinic of Long Island University. She completed her dissertation on the improvement in social cognition in a group of adolescents with Asperger’s Syndrome.
Dr. Sandler is a psychoanalyst and received her certification to practice psychoanalysis from New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. There she was trained in psychoanalytic assessment and formulation, dream interpretation, and an understanding and analysis of personalities, conflicts, and individual developmental stages. She received broad training in psychoanalytic principles and theories. Dr. Sandler also provides psychedelic integration and Ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
Naomi Davidson Psy.D.
Naomi Davidson has a doctorate in psychology in school-clinical child psychology from Pace University where she graduated in 2010. She has been working in various elementary and high schools as a school psychologist since 2006 and has worked to support children, adolescents, and their families in and out of the classroom. Her clinical experience includes working at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey and she has also trained in North Jersey Developmental Center in Totowa. Dr. Davidson has a particular interest in supporting the individual needs of children and their families to help them reach their full potential.
Dr. Davidson has experience in training and working with adults in different levels of psychiatric distress, as well as undergoing various health crises. Her therapy includes Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for children and adults. She has a specialty in diagnosing and treating ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, and social difficulties. She has a certification in school psychology and is working with a permit to practice clinical psychology in the state of New Jersey under the supervision of Dr. Sandler.
Chana Rappaport LCSW
Chana Rappaport is a clinical social worker with over twenty years of experience working with children, adults, and families with a spectrum of difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family conflicts. She trained in NYU where she received her Masters in Social Work and has trained in Coney Island Hospital in their outpatient mental health clinic as well as the inpatient psychiatric unit there where she later worked as a social worker for over 10 years. She also worked in various other mental health centers supporting individuals and their families across the developmental spectrum. She has trained in EMDR and trauma focused CBT (TFCBT). She also works as a quality assurance specialist in psychiatric settings.
